1. Terms of Service

Welcome to FORGE ("Application", "Service"), operated by Iasin ("Operator", "Data Controller"). By creating an account or accessing FORGE, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

⚠️ MEDICAL & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DISCLAIMER

FORGE is strictly a personal exercise logging tool. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. Physical exercise and heavy lifting carry inherent risks of severe physical injury, heart attack, or death. You explicitly acknowledge that you train entirely at your own risk. Consult a physician before beginning any physical exercise program.

1.1 Use of Service

FORGE is designed for personal workout logging and friend interaction. You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt database intrusions, spam messaging channels, reverse-engineer the API, or engage in malicious activity. Violations will result in immediate termination of account access and IP blacklisting.

1.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. If you register via email, ensure your password meets strength requirements. If you sign in via Google OAuth, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account.

1.3 Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the Operator be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Application, data loss, equipment damage, or personal physical injury.

2. Privacy Policy (GDPR Compliant)

This Privacy Policy explains how FORGE collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

2.2 Information We Collect

Account Data: Email address, hashed password (or Google ID if using Google Sign-In), display name, and unique 4-digit friend code.
Workout & Fitness Data: Exercise logs, set reps/weights/times, body weight measurements, personal records (PRs), and custom routines.
Social & Communication Data: Messages, reactions, media attachments, group chat participation, and push notification endpoints.
Technical Data: IP address, user-agent string, and timestamp recorded upon legal terms acceptance for compliance audit trailing.

2.3 Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing account and workout data necessary to deliver the core functionality of the Application.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Explicit consent provided upon signup and when accepting terms for optional features like Push Notifications.
Legal Compliance (Art. 6(1)(c)): Retaining consent logs to satisfy legal accountability requirements.

2.4 Third-Party Services & Google OAuth Data

If you choose to log in via Google OAuth, we receive your Google user ID, primary email address, display name, and profile picture URL. We store your email, name, and Google ID strictly to authenticate you. We do NOT sell your data or share it with third-party advertisers.

Password reset transactional emails are sent via Google SMTP. No advertising trackers, Google Analytics, or third-party ad networks are integrated into FORGE.

2.5 Your GDPR Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Access & Data Portability (Art. 15 & 20): You can export your workout history directly in CSV format from the Application settings screen.
Right to Erasure / Deletion (Art. 17): You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → "DELETE ACCOUNT".
Right to Rectification (Art. 16): You may update your profile name and credentials directly in the app.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You may revoke push notification permissions or delete your account at any time.

3. End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you and Iasin for the FORGE application.

3.1 License Grant

Subject to these terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use FORGE on your personal devices for personal, non-commercial fitness logging.

3.2 Ownership

All intellectual property rights in FORGE (including design, UI elements, stickman illustrations, code, and databases) remain the exclusive property of the Operator. Your logged workout data remains your property.

3.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer any part of the Application or underlying server software without express written permission.

3.4 Termination

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting your account. The Operator reserves the right to suspend access for terms violations.
